I found this great plugin for Wordpress called wp-db-backup, which you can use to backup your databases from within Wordpress. You can set it up to save the backups to the server, e-mail it to you, or download it to your computer. If you also download this plugin called wp-cron, you an schedule automated backups. Kudos to Skippy for these plugins.
